Janak Sitaula

I am currently pursuing B.E. in Computer Science Engineering at Kathmandu University, Nepal. Obtained my schooling at Budhanilkantha School, I developed a sharp interest towards politics and philosophy mainly due to the existing political conditions of the country. The religious preaching that I have received over the course of my childhood also helped me shape my understanding of philosophy and life in general.  I aspire to inspire people to have a wide spectrum of understanding on contemporary, political as well as general life issues. A general level of consciousness to elevate our understanding of society as a whole differentiates us in public as well as provides us with an added self esteem. This further opens up a variety of opportunities for us when it comes to pivotal situations such as choosing career or simple cases such as to choose friend circle. This also improves  our social skills. That is why, I initiated this blog so as to inspire people to diverge their thought process and widen their perception. I hope, with my efforts on writing, I can improve my skills as well as that of the readers.

Long lost art thou in paths of indecision, Forest of thoughts doth block thy glimmer, Soft whisphers passeth through like breezes, Abysmal ventures dost thou seeketh through the night. O lord almighty! Bestow upon me thy blessing I seeketh, For only thy grace shall lift me from this plight.

Transistors, Quantum Tunneling & Computing (Part I)

As some say, the greatest discovery to mankind has been fire. Well, you may argue it might be penicillin or fungus in general. However, in the current age of technology, something that is precious to people more than anything is semiconductors, more precisely, transistors. Whenever you hear the word ‘transistor’, you may picture an IC or an electrical component with three pins hanging out of it. You are not wrong. Transistors are the heart of today’s technological advancement. Since its inception in 1947, its development has significantly shaped how we see and perceive the world today. Numerous medical advancements, and military developments, from your light bulbs to the nukes, anything electronic you associate today with, may have a transistor. Talk about the numbers? Well, you might just have a few billion on the top of your palms and even more on top of your lap. Since the development of the first microprocessor in 1968, the growth of the chip industry has been exponential. By...

Whispers of silence

Imagine a world where there is no question. A world where every want of a question is erased. No one questions how and why things are happening. With every sunrise and every ray of a dying day, people forget questions. Imagine a world that way. The world as we know, wouldn't even exist, why? There are no questions. Consequences? In all honesty, nobody else would care. That world without questions would praise truth as much as it would praise lies. Facts won't matter. Perspectives? They are merely an elongation of ideals under which you run. But will your ideals really matter? There are no questions. Silence would be observed with noise. Silence so deafening, One would beg to find peace beyond the voids of words. Nevertheless, we will rejoice in that noise, why? There are no questions. The gloom of clouds will shy away from the gloom of your emotions. The rain will embrace your bliss, but flood you with answers, answers to the questions you never as...
